Juxtaposed

Juxtaposed is the journal’s space for longer-form creative or critical writing. These pieces take the form of essays that engage visual culture through sustained analysis, theoretical reflection, cultural critique, or creative works that embody a visual cultural aesthetic in their presentation or modality of craetion. Contributions may draw from disciplines such as literary studies, art history, media studies, cultural studies, or adjacent fields, but should remain attentive to visual culture as their central object of inquiry.
